Shri Shahr is a shining example of Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative, says DPIIT secretary

Amardeep Singh Bhatia, Secretary of the Department of Industry and Domestic Trade Promotion of the Union Ministry of Commerce and Industry, during his visit to Sri City of Tirupati district on Thursday.

Amardeep Singh Bhatia, Secretary, Department of Promotion of Industries and Domestic Trade (DPIIT), Union Ministry of Commerce and Industry visited Sri City on Thursday. He was received by Srinagar President (Operation) Satish Kamat.

Shri Bhatia praised the industrial infrastructure and favorable business environment and described it as a shining example of Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative to integrate green and orange industries.

While visiting the manufacturing unit of Daikin Air Conditioning India Pvt Ltd at the Industrial Park, the official said that the partnership between Daikin India and Taiwan’s Rechi Group to manufacture AC compressors in Sri City has significantly reduced India’s dependence on import of critical components.
