Diwali 2024 is here and we can’t contain our excitement. From making rangolis and placing lanterns to buying sweets and planning parties, many of us look at different parts of celebrating Diwali. But for foodies, nothing beats the opportunity to indulge in a variety of sweets and snacks. Shilpa Shetty, who has always been a true foodie at heart, recently hinted that she is enjoying this festive season. She took to her Instagram stories to share a photo of a huge plate full of festive joy.
The dish seems to have a good mix of sweet, salty and spicy treats. Some of the classic Diwali sweets and namkeens include karanji (gujia), besan laddoos, motichoor laddoos, shankarpali, namak pare, kachori, mathari and others. There are also various dry fruits on the plate that look like pieces of chocolate. Shilpa Shetty added two hashtags to the photo: #happydiwali and #diwalisweets. Take a look at the screengrab below:

Shilpa Shetty never fails to give us glimpses at festivals throughout the year. Earlier, she shared a reel on Navratri 2024. He wished his followers for Ashtami and Navami 2024 and shared how the festival is celebrated. In the video, Shilpa can be seen performing Kanjak Poojan or Kanya Puja.
