Shah Rukh Khan went through a very difficult time when his son Aryan Khan was born in 2021 Cordelia Cruise was arrested during a drug bust in Mumbai. Aryan was later acquitted of all charges but the incident deeply affected Shah Rukh and in a recent interview Paparazzo Varinder Chawla, Since then, Shah Rukh said that he has stayed away from the media for good reasons. Warinder recalled an incident in 2022-2023 before the release of Pathan, when one of his photographers clicked SRK and his family during their private time. Varinder removed the footage and later got a confirmation call from the star himself.
Talking to Faridun Shehryar on his YouTube channel, Varinder said, ‘During Pathan, one of my boys crossed the border and took some personal pictures of Shah Rukh Khan and his family. They sent me and I thought it was not right. I scolded them and told them that it was not done. I told the boys that when you shoot, they will know what you did and who did it, and it will ruin my reputation.”
Varinder Chawla said that he immediately called Shah Rukh Khan’s PR team and informed them about the incident. “I immediately called his PR team to say that my boys had made a mistake. I told them that I have deleted everything and it will not be aired anywhere because it was a private moment for their family. Their PR team thanked me and said it’s good that you understand. I thought it was over. About 10 minutes later Shahrukh’s manager Pooja Dadlani called and said that he wanted to talk to you sir. I was afraid for a minute that he was going to scold me. Then I said, ‘Okay, let’s talk because why would I refuse to talk to him,'” he recalled.

Shah Rukh spoke to Varinder and admitted the reason behind his staying away from the media. “He grabbed the phone and he said ‘Son, tell me you deleted the video. Not that I want to stay away from the media, but whatever goes wrong in the media, I am a father too…'” He said Shah Rukh distanced himself from the photographer because of what happened during Aryan’s time. He recalled, “We talked for about 3-4 minutes. Then I realized that I was the father of two children, and as he was talking on the phone, It felt like a father’s pain.
Since then, Shahrukh Khan has appeared in the media a lot, but he has not appeared as much as before in this case. The actor will next be seen in Sujoy Ghosh’s King which also stars Suhana Khan and Abhishek Bachchan.
