Rajasthan BJP chief Madan Rathore on Saturday said RLP MP Hanuman Beniwal would benefit if his wife Kanika Beniwal loses the Khinbhasar Assembly by-election as she can stay home and take care of their children.
Kanika Beniwal is contesting as the RLP candidate in the November 13 by-election.
Madan Rathore said if both Hanuman Beniwal and his wife continue politics, what will happen to their family? “I saw on social media that he (Hanuman Beniwal) was worried that if his wife didn’t win, he would go to his ‘pihar’ (mom’s house). Bro, when you were threatened so much, why did you take such a risk? (to field his wife in the by-election)?” he asked.
Madan Rathore then said, “You (Hanuman Beniwal) know he can’t win. But I have a piece of advice. Hanumanji if your wife loses it will benefit you. She can go to her parents’ house or wherever. Will take care of the children.” “Don’t you have to take care of the child? What will happen to the family if both of them continue to do politics? This should be understood,” he said.
Madan Rathore also attacked the Congress saying that many Congress leaders are doing politics after being released on bail.
“Congress leaders are on bail. They committed huge scams and were arrested. They are out on bail and doing politics,” he said and named Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, P Chidambaram and other leaders.
