Rahul Gandhi over Manmohan Singh

Belagavi: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has said that he has lost his mentor and guide in former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.

“Manmohan Singh ji led India with immense wisdom and integrity. His humility and deep understanding of economics inspired the nation. My deepest condolences to Mrs. Kaur and family,” Gandhi said in a post on X.

“I have lost a mentor and guide. Millions of us who admired him will remember him with great pride,” the former Congress chief said.

Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi, who were in Belagavi to attend the centenary celebrations of the 1924 Indian National Congress session, reached Delhi after hearing the news of Dr Singh’s death.
