YSRC president and former chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy criticized the coalition government for failing to fulfill its election promises. Speaking during his visit to Pulivendula on Tuesday, Jagan accused the government of making unreasonable commitments and backing down only after coming to power.
Encouraging his workers, Jagan said, “We have fulfilled our promises and exceeded expectations with our welfare schemes. Unlike Chandrababu Naidu who misled voters with false assurances, we supported every commitment. ” He assured party workers that their efforts would be rewarded, hinting at possible early elections in 2027 under the One Nation One Election framework.
Jagan highlighted the party’s achievements during his tenure and expressed confidence that the people would return to power as the people were dissatisfied with the coalition’s governance. He had announced that he would protest against the increase in electricity tariff on January 27th and January 3rd saying that the fee had not been paid.
Prominent leaders, MP YS Avinash Reddy, SB Amjath Basha, and Kadapa Mayor Suresh Babu, attended the meeting.
