Police have arrested a ‘serial killer’ who killed 10 people in Rupnagar, Punjab Chandigarh News

Police in Punjab’s Rupnagar on Monday arrested a man, who is being investigated for another murder in which he allegedly killed 10 people.

According to the police, the arrested person has been identified as Ram Swaroop alias Sodhi of Chaura village in Hoshiarpur district of the state. They said that the accused will be produced before the District Court Roper soon.

Rupnagar Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Gulneet Singh Khurana said that Maninder Singh’s body was found on Manali Road in Kiratpur Sahib area on August 18. After the body was found, the police registered a case of murder and started investigation.

Khurana said that during interrogation, the accused confessed to killing 9 more people, out of which he said that he killed 3 in Rupnagar area.
