Counter Terrorist Operation (OCTOPUS), Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS), City Security Wing (CSW), Railway Protection (RPF) and Law and Order Police conducted a mock drill at Vijayawada railway station on Thursday.
Mock operations were conducted for VIP security, prevention of terrorist activities and measures to be taken in case of accidents and other emergencies. Fire, Medical and Health, NTR Police, Government Railway Police (GRP) and other branches participated in the mock operation.
CSW Superintendent of Police (SP) SVD Prasad, Octopus Additional SP Raja Reddy and other officers participated.
