Karimnagar: Transport and BC Welfare Minister Ponam Prabhakar on Thursday went on a morning walk in Husnabad constituency of Karimnagar district to connect with people and address local concerns.
The minister started his walk from the MLA camp office and reached various wards of the city. During the walk, Minister Prabhakar took the opportunity to inspect the ongoing infrastructure projects with a special focus on the development of main roads and construction of drainage.
Many residents approached him to highlight civic issues ranging from road maintenance to sanitation concerns. The minister assured the people that immediate steps will be taken to solve the problems after talking to the relevant agencies at the scene. “We are committed to improving infrastructure and ensuring that the needs of our citizens are met effectively,” Prabhakar said.
Besides addressing civic issues, the minister interacted with local traders, inquired about their businesses and assessed their progress under the Congress-led government. He expressed his satisfaction with the positive response from businessmen.
The minister then went to the bus stand which was being renovated. Many commuters requested the introduction of new bus routes. He assured that new routes and more bus services will be launched soon.
Soon after, he participated in a religious program held at Siddheshwar Swamy Temple. After praying at the Yallamma temple, he took the Rudra Kavacham to the Siddheshwar Swamy temple and offered it to the deity. Local Congress leaders and activists were present in the program.
