Ministers visited Tata Digital Nerve Center to improve public healthcare system in AP

IT and Human Resource Development Minister Nara Lokesh and Health Minister Y. A delegation from the Andhra Pradesh government led by Satya Kumar visited the Tata Digital Nerve Center (DiNC) in Kolar, Karnataka on Monday, December 16.

DiNC is Tata Consultancy Services’ (TCS) innovative delivery model designed to connect, communicate, coordinate and deliver healthcare by leveraging people, infrastructure and a robust digital platform.

During the visit, which included a walkthrough at the Health and Wellness Center at Shettyhalli run by Vemgal PHC and DNC, Shri Lokesh emphasized the importance of adopting innovative healthcare models to improve the public healthcare system in Andhra Pradesh.

Girish Krishnamurthy, MD (Medical & Diagnostics) Limited, Tata, gave a presentation on the services provided by DNC and highlighted its impact on government health programs in Karnataka.

He organized live demonstrations of DNC’s use cases in reproductive and child health, non-communicable disease management and mental health coordination.

An official release of the AP government said that the ministers’ visit highlighted the government’s commitment to adopting cutting-edge technologies for the transformation of the public healthcare system.

The insights gained by them will help develop advanced, technology-enabled healthcare initiatives in Andhra Pradesh, which will ensure improved healthcare access and outcomes for its citizens.

Andhra Pradesh Economic Development Board CEO CM Saikanth Verma and other officials accompanied the ministers.
