UK author JK Rowling In her first reaction to Donald Trump’s victory in the US election, she reiterated what she had written about the left in the UK that the left had monumentally advanced the ideology of gender identity. The Harry Potter author said many women like her are not remotely perfect and never have been. But the left wants to “raise hell”.
“I’m not saying Trump’s victory was down to gender stuff – I’m not an American voter, so I can’t judge. In any case, the Labor Party won the last UK election and they’ve fully embraced gender identity ideology. – wholeheartedly (although they’re so against the Tory government It would have been miraculous if they hadn’t won, though weak and unpopular, and their popularity has declined since taking office.)” Rowling wrote.
“What I do know is that millions of women in the UK and the developed world are furious at men in women’s sport, men in women’s prisons and the erosion of single-sex spaces. Parents are angry at being demonised. They don’t want their troubled children to undergo irreversible medical treatments of highly questionable benefit. An elite, embraces an academia-generated ideology that has serious real-world consequences,” the British author wrote.
JK Rowling was one of the first major figures to speak out on Paris Olympics boxing gold medalist Imane Khelief’s gender controversy. Donald Trump, Elon Musk also spoke on the issue condemning the soft stance of liberals to allow ‘men’ to participate in women’s classes.
Referring to that issue, Rowling wrote, “Large groups on the left continue to threaten and vilify anyone who resists attempts to impose ideological language or dispel misogyny. Leftist leaders still seem more willing to embrace the belief that biological sex is real and matter than gender activists.” – to take a topical example in Britain – female nurses whose crime is not entirely intact in not wanting to undress in front of a man.”
The author added that she is completely indifferent to critics who call her a bigot and a fascist.
