Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma reviewed the progress of the work here on Monday and asked the officials to make a time-bound action plan.
It is likely that the budget session of the state assembly will begin at the end of January and the budget submission will be in the first week of February 2025. In this regard, Speaker Vasudev Devnani has recently met with Governor Haribhau Kisanrao Bagde.
Mr. Sharma said that the development works will be completed with full accountability and transparency to ensure the progress of Rajasthan. He said that important works such as water supply and electricity supply, upgrading of stone clusters, development of industrial areas and establishment of plants for treating polluted water should be completed on time.
While reviewing the implementation of the announcement made for 32 departments of the state government, the Chief Minister said that all of them would submit progress reports regularly. He asked the public works department to issue a tender for a single job to save time and start the public service work quickly.
Mr. Sharma said that the Brahmani River Dam project would ensure adequate water availability in southern and western Rajasthan and the water resources department would speed up the work. In addition, a summer contingency plan will be prepared for better management of drinking water facilities in the upcoming summer season.
