Sunburn: A 13-year-old girl from Nereducherla. Durga Shriya Vani died after 71 days in a coma at a San Francisco hospital, officials said today.
She went into a coma due to a heart attack and was admitted to Sanford Research Center Hospital on October 12. She was the elder daughter of Venu Madhav Reddy and Saujanya of Suryapet district and was residing in America.
Durga Shriya Vani spent her early years with her grandparents in Nereducherala before moving to America at the age of six. At the time of the incident, she was studying in seventh grade in a local school.
