Implement Metro Rail in Tiruchi, says Durai Bhaiko

MDMK MP Durai Vaiko has requested the Center to allocate funds for the metro rail project and the state to work on Tiruchi.

Mr. Durai Wako representing Tiruchi Lok Sabha Constituency said that CMRL has already formed a committee to study the project and submit a report. “The committee includes representatives from the Center and it has already submitted its report,” he said in the Lok Sabha.

He also asked the government to increase the commission given to agents of Life Insurance Corporation (LIC). “Since its inception in 1956, commissions for agents have not been increased. Although Irda has recommended for the increase, it has not been implemented. The government should not reduce the first year’s commission and increase the total commission, he said.

Shri Durai Bhaiko also strengthened the idea of ​​raising the age limit seeing that the average life expectancy of people is increasing. “The decision to increase the age from 55 to 50 years has stopped people from taking the policy,” he said.
