Hyderabad: HMWS&SB Managing Director Ashok Reddy visited Red Hills on Sunday to oversee the emergency repair of the damaged 825-mm pipeline transporting water from the Asifnagar filter bed to the Red Hills Reservoir.
HMWS&SB officials completed the work by 4 pm and restored supply to the affected areas.
During the inspection, Reddy reviewed the progress of the work and directed to start the road repair immediately after the restoration of the pipeline. Emphasizing the importance of infrastructure integrity, he called for the strengthening of newly installed pipelines to enhance water supply and sewage management and update its details in the GIS system.
