Visakhapatnam: A gas cylinder explosion in a house in Visakhapatnam’s Indira Gandhi Nagar left five people injured, including a woman in critical condition. The incident, which took place around 10 o’clock on Wednesday night, has spread panic among the locals.
A gas cylinder broke down in a house in the old dairy farm area of ββIndira Gandhi Nagar and the explosion took place. Among the injured are two women, one man and two children. The deceased have been identified as G Satyavati (28), Nandini (28), Venkat (27), Raju (10) and Sanju (13).
Malleshwar Rao, Arilova CI, confirmed that emergency services immediately rushed the injured to VIMS Hospital for treatment. Among the injured, four people have minor injuries, while one woman is in serious condition and is undergoing treatment.
