Former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje’s car met with an accident in Pali on Sunday afternoon, injuring five policemen who were with him.

The accident occurred when a police escort vehicle overturned while trying to protect a motorcycle in Bali, Pali district.

The former chief minister rushed the injured to a government hospital in Bali in an ambulance, with BJP’s Bali MLA Pushpendra Singh accompanying the injured. Raje wrote on social media that all the policemen suffered minor injuries and were discharged after first aid.

The former Chief Minister was returning to Jodhpur from Mundara village in Pali after condoling the death of his mother with Minister of State for Panchayati Raj and Rural Development Otaram Dewasi.

On 11 December, two people, including an assistant sub-inspector, were killed in an accident involving Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma’s vehicle in Jaipur.
