Doc shares CBSE Class 12th Result with reminder for students

CBSE Class 10 and 12 Board Result 2023 declared earlier today. The overall pass percentage this year is 87.33 percent, which is 5.38 percent less than the previous year.

Students across the country go through a rollercoaster of emotions after the results are announced — happiness and relief for those who got their desired results, disappointment, sadness, or disappointment for those who didn’t meet their expectations. Each student’s response depends on their personal goals, aspirations, and the importance they attach to academic achievement.

Keeping this in mind, Dr. Sudhir Kumar, a neurologist working at Apollo Hospital, Hyderabad shared his CBSE Class 12 mark sheet from 1989 on Twitter in March 2023.


In the thread, he said that around 17 lakh students appeared for the Class 12 CBSE board exams this year.

He wrote, ‘You may be eagerly waiting for the results. Here I am sharing my 34 years old marksheet. Focus on Physics Theory Marks: 23/70. He was then expected to score 67-68 out of 70 in Physics but due to an unexplained error, he got only passing marks.

But he adds that “despite the disappointment, it ultimately had no significant impact.”

Dr. Sudhir informed that he was able to apply for the entrance examination of various medical colleges. He got admitted to CMC Vellore where he successfully cleared the eligibility requirements — scoring 50% or more in every subject of Class 12 — thanks to his practical scores.

Finally, in a reassuring tweet, he wrote, “Scores do matter but only to an extent. So, my sincere advice to students is to study hard and do well in entrance exams (NEET/JEE) or any other higher studies. Future Class 12 Marks ( alone) does not depend on
