While users are facing issues while accessing ChatGPT, OpenAI’s official status page also acknowledged the outage. The company described the issue as “increased latency and errors affecting both ChatGPT and the API.”
Also, according to the official OpenAI status page, the service is now back online and the latency issue has been resolved. “Performance is now back to normal”, reads the official page.
To verify this, the TOI tech team also tried accessing ChatGPT on the web as well as through the mobile app and in both places ChatGPT seems to be working fine without any issues.
