It has also requested the candidates not to be influenced by the rumors about the prelim exam.
“Do not be misled by such elements who spread confusion without any facts and spread controversy based on baseless information. District Police Office Patan is investigating the entire incident. Prompt and effective action will be taken after investigation. ” said the press release issued by the Controller of Examinations of BPSC.
The Commission has also rejected the claim that some of the questions in the preliminary round were taken from the model question paper of the coaching centre.
“Some unwanted elements are spreading rumors that some questions in the question paper of the said exam have been taken from the model question paper of a coaching institute. This is a well-planned conspiracy to mislead and incite the candidates,’ said the commission.
After the “alleged” paper leak during the 3rd Teacher Recruitment Test (TRE 3.0) held in March 2024, the BPSC said it has improved the conduct of the examination.
The commission said the demand to conduct preliminary re-examination in the entire state was “illogical” and that the paper leak rumors were part of a conspiracy.
Regarding the Bapu examination center which ordered the re-examination, the commission said that while many candidates were writing the examination peacefully, some ‘disobedient elements’ entered a room and threw the OMR sheet of the examinee in the air, tore it and spread the information about it. The exam has been cancelled.

According to the Commission, they incited the candidates to boycott the examination.
It added that the examination center comes under the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) and the commission does not interfere with the jurisdiction of the school board.
The BPSC has said that no officer has been appointed at the center and has requested the district administration to provide a detailed report.
According to the commission, envelopes were taken from some rooms and taken to other rooms and outside the center to spread the rumor that the examination was cancelled.
