AP High Court Chief Justice, Judges bid farewell to Justice Narendra

Andhra Pradesh High Court (HC) Chief Justice (CJ) Dheeraj Singh Thakur and other judges bid farewell to Justice G Narendra, who was elevated as Chief Justice of Uttarakhand High Court on Tuesday.

On the occasion, the Chief Justice said that Judge Narendra’s decision reflects the basic principles of the judiciary and will serve as a beacon for future judges.

He appreciated Justice Narendra’s contribution to the Judiciary, and despite his short tenure in the AP High Court, Justice Narendra handled many cases with ease and great efficiency.

Justice Narendra expressed his gratitude for the love and affection shown to Mr. Thakur and other colleagues of the bench, lawyers, judicial officers and staff.

Advocate General (AG) Dammalapati Srinivas, AP HC Bar Association President K. Chidambaram, Deputy Solicitor General Ponna Rao, Additional AG E. Sambasiva Pratap, Public Prosecutor M. Laxminarayan and HC Registrar General Y Laxman Rao were present.
