Actor Kalki Koechlin has worked with filmmaker Anurag Kashyap in many films including Dev. D And that girl in the yellow shoes. The two got married in 2011 but separated in 2015. Although separated, they are on good terms. After Anurag’s daughter Alia Kashyap’s wedding with Shane Gregoire, Kalki penned a heartfelt note for the newlyweds.
Taking to her Instagram account on Thursday, Kalki shared a photo of the couple from their wedding day and penned a touching note. She wrote, ‘I got a bunch of things other people said. You’re ‘Just Kids’ (Patti Smith’s Autobiography 😍) ‘Two drifters of the world to see, there’s too much world to see’ (B’fast @ Tiffany’s, infinite rewatch value) So ‘Trust your heart if the seas catch fire, in love Live, though the stars go backwards’ (EE Cummings, my favorite poet) Remember ‘Time brings roses’ (Portuguese proverb) and ‘Nothing works until you do Won’t’ (The Greatest, Maya Angelou)”
