After Bhagwat’s comments, Yogi Adityanath condemned the desecration of the temple

New Delhi: A day after RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat spoke about inclusiveness and called for avoiding raising temple-mosque disputes, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday condemned the destruction of Hindu temples in various parts of the country. highlighted. The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh reiterated that protection of Sanatan Dharma is necessary for world peace.

Citing Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Ayodhya’s Ram Temple, Mathura’s Krishna Janmabhoomi and Sambhal’s Harihar Bhoomi Temple, the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister said that “physical development” (development) cannot be sustained by neglecting heritage.

Continuing his tirade against “temple destroyers”, Adityanath, whose “Batenge to Katenge” slogan was seen by many in the BJP as a game changer during the Maharashtra assembly elections, also asserted that “the descendants of those who desecrate these temples will be destroyed.” The Chief Minister reiterated that Sanatan Dharma was the “only way to establish world peace”.

The Uttar Pradesh CM was speaking at a religious event in Ayodhya, where he also referred to atrocities on Hindus in Bangladesh, Pakistan and Afghanistan and asked, “I want to ask who were those people who destroyed the places of pride of Sanatan Dharma in the country? Why did they do it?”

“Such barbaric acts were part of the conspiracy to make the whole earth hell… be it Ram Janmabhoomi in Ayodhya, Krishna Janmabhoomi in Mathura or Harihar Bhoomi in Sambhal… these places were destroyed, desecrated or desecrated… and the descendants of those who desecrate these temples will perish,” said Adityanath.

Talking about atrocities on Hindus in Bangladesh, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh said, “Don’t forget that this Sanatan Dharma alone has given shelter, protection and opportunity to all castes, religions and sects to live and prosper. Awkward… But are Hindus treated the same way in other parts of the world? What is happening in Bangladesh today or what happened in Pakistan or Afghanistan? I want to ask who destroyed the symbols of Sanatan Dharma and why?”

Adityanath urged Indians to be prepared so that the country does not face “Ghulami ki Bediyan” again and its religious places are not seen desecrated.

Adityanath’s comments came a day after the RSS chief said at an event in Pune that a Hindu leader cannot become a Ram temple and develop a model of harmony in the country that the world can adopt.

“Ram temple is a matter of faith for Hindus…Hindus believe that a Ram temple should be built. But in doing so, one cannot become a Hindu leader … We talk of becoming a Vishwaguru (world leader) and not a Mahashakti (great power). This is because we have seen the behavior of people after becoming a superpower. Achieving selfish gains for supremacy is not our path…,” Bhagwat had said on Thursday.

The RSS chief said, “…we have to show the world that we can do it together…many sects and ideologies that accommodate everyone…”
