A look out notice has been issued against the family members of former minister Parni Nani

Police and PDS department have started action on PDS rice smuggling.

They have issued a look out notice to prevent the family members of former minister Parni Nani from going abroad.

The Department of Civil Supplies has started assessing the quantity of PDS rice smuggled from the godowns.

The prime accused in the case sought bail and the plea will be heard on December 19.

After civil supply officials issued a notice to Perni’s family to pay the missing amount of rice, Nani’s family members remitted Rs 1 crore through three DDs on December 13. Later they also submitted a DD of 70 lakhs. 1.70 crores total payment.

This means that the Civil Supply Officers themselves gave Nani’s family a chance to escape the case.

Since Nani is a former minister, he is also supported by Krishna district officials, so district officials are trying to reduce the intensity of the case.

Jan Sena leader and Civil Supplies Minister Nadendala Manohar is also being criticized for not inspecting Nani’s godown. Usually, wherever Nadendala Manohar goes, he inspects super markets, rice mills and ports. Despite the allegations against Nani, neither Nadendala Manohar nor Home Minister Anitha seemed serious about the issue.

Surprisingly, no one from Nani’s family has been arrested in this case yet.

About 20 days ago, Nani filed a complaint about the theft of PDS rice from her godown. After that, the officials reached the godown, but when the employees were absent, they broke the lock and entered the godown. They are evaluating the rice in the warehouse.

It is known that the number of sacks of rice lost is more than what the nanny or civil supply officer said. The family members of Nani, who lost three thousand 200 sacks of rice from the godown, have said that more than three thousand seven hundred eight sacks of rice are missing during the preliminary investigation. It is estimated that rice lost from the warehouse may be more than this. However, the final figures have not yet arrived.
