Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address school students during the eighth edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha (PPC 2025) to be held in January 2025, the Education Ministry said in a statement. PPC 2025 will be scheduled mostly in the last week of January, before the annual exams begin across the country.
Registration for PPC 2025 has started MyGov.in December 14 and will remain open until January 15, 2025. In 2024, 2.26 crore participants (2.06 crore students, 14.93 lakh teachers, and 5.69 lakh parents) participated in the programme.
“For PPC 2025, two students (Class 9 to 12) and one teacher from each state/UT, Kala Utsav winners, and Veer Gatha, Prerna Alumni, and PM SHRI school participants will be invited as special guests. The main event, ” said an MoE statement.
Conceived to reduce exam stress and encourage students, teachers and parents, PM Modi has been addressing students at PPC every year for the past seven years.
To participate in PPC, students from classes 6 to 12 must participate in a quiz competition. MyGov.in. Students, teachers and parents from classes 6 to 12 will be selected from those participating in the competition.
“Students can submit their favorite questions they want to ask the Prime Minister during the registration process. The questions may be related to exam stress, career, future aspirations or life in general,” the statement said.
