Hyderabad: On Thursday, the police arrested two people involved in the robbery that took place near Usha Company in Balanagar.
Among those arrested are 22-year-old Shaik Samir alias Haider, a plumber from Jidimetla, and 19-year-old Mohammad Hussain, a private employee from Golconda. The police traced the arrested persons by analyzing the CCTV footage and call data records (CDR) of 50 cameras on the escape route.
48-year-old Bachu Satish of Balanagar Chintal filed a complaint that Samir and Hussain came on a motorcycle and hit him when he reached the main gate of Usha Company in Balanagar while returning home from the office at around 12:15 on 5th of November. Then he fell down from the vehicle.
They assaulted Satish and robbed him of his mobile phone, cash and gold. Balanagar Assistant Commissioner of Police G Hanumantha Rao said Sameer and Hussain had planned to commit any property crime due to their bad habits. According to their plan, they looted valuables from Satish.
