YCP leaders looted the state through corruption: Kollu Ravindra

Minister Kollu Ravindra said that former minister Parni Nani had agreed to pay the missing PDS rice and this showed that he had committed a crime.

He said the government will not spare anyone involved in illegal mining of underground resources.

Talking to the media, he said that the former minister was absconding after smuggling PDS rice worth 90 lakhs. He alleged that YCP leaders had cheated tons of rice during his rule. The YCP is a party of robbers and its leader is a notorious thief, he said.

He also accused Nani and her son of pushing the youth of Bandar into the intoxication of ganja. He said that they also involved the women of the house in the crime.

Meanwhile, Perni Nani and her family members have approached the Machilipatnam District Court and the Andhra Pradesh High Court for anticipatory bail.

Sources said that Nani’s wife will remain underground until she is released on bail. Krishna district police have not been able to find out the condition of Nani’s family despite intensive search.
