Vijayawada: The Andhra Pradesh government is set to implement revised property registration rates from January 1, 2025, with a reported increase of 10-15% in rural and urban areas. In addition to the registration rates, structural prices will also be revised. The rate revision proposal by the district committees under the supervision of the district joint director will be displayed on the notice board of the sub-registrar’s office by 20th of November.
Public suggestions and objections will be accepted until December 24 and reviewed by December 27. The State Registration and Stamp Department has directed the district registrars to take necessary steps to implement the new rates as per government directives. The aim of the amendment is to remove anomalies in the field and ensure a more just process.
