The state government has constituted an Artificial Intelligence (AI) Task Force for one year, an official release said.
The development comes after the technology-driven governance was announced at the annual Chintan camp last month. The task force will be headed by the principal secretary of the Department of Science and Technology. The Director of Information and Communication Technology and e-Governance will be the member secretary of the working group.
The task force will be responsible for formulating a sound AI roadmap and strategy for its implementation, identifying areas to incorporate AI and promoting AI literacy among other things.
By the end of the financial year, the working group formed for one year will evaluate and change the work area and work style.
