trifling (adjective)

Meaning: unimportant or trivial

Example: What may seem like a small matter to many can have profound consequences

travesty (noun)

Meaning: A false, absurd or distorted representation of something

Example: An absurdly generous sentence is a travesty of justice

trenchant (adjective)

Meaning: Strong or intense in expression or style

Example: The White Paper strongly criticizes the health authorities

trite (adjective)

Meaning: (of a comment or idea) lacking originality or freshness; Slow due to overuse

Example: Sadly the rest of the second half was trite to the point of boredom

syntax (noun)

Meaning: The arrangement of words and phrases in a language to create well-formed sentences

Example: A document should at least demonstrate correct use of syntax and grammar

truculent (adjective)

Meaning: Eager or quick to argue or quarrel; Aggressively resist

turgid (adjective)

Meaning: Swollen and distended or congested

Example: A river is a brown, turgid worm that widens as a peat salmon-spawn stream.

ubiquitous (adjective)

Meaning: present, manifest, or found everywhere
