Train passenger dies due to collision – The Hindu

A 55-year-old train passenger fell to his death on his way to Coimbatore on Wednesday.

The passenger, identified as Rauf from Thikkodi, reportedly fainted as soon as he boarded the Koilandi to Coimbatore Express train. The fellow passengers called the rescue team and took him to a nearby hospital, but he died on the way, it is said. The body has been kept at Koilandi Taluk Hospital for post-mortem.
