Virat Kohli’s dismissal has started a meme fest

India batsman Virat Kohli is back on the radar after he was dismissed in the third Test at the Gabba during the Border Gavaskar Trophy on Monday.

Chasing the delivery outside the off stump, Virat Kohli wasted his wicket in the same old style, leaving the fans furious.

Josh Hazlewood managed to drain the edge of Kohli’s bat with a minimum swinging delivery outside off and it landed safely in Carey’s gloves. Kohli returned with only 3 runs.

The batting maestro, who mesmerized the fans with his century in the first Test in Perth, failed to impress in the day-night Test in Adelaide.

Meanwhile, disappointed fans did not remain silent after the sacking as they took to social media platforms to express their grief in creative ways.

A user on ‘X’ posted an old video of the legendary Sachin Tendulkar, where he vowed not to play off-stump deliveries and urged Kohli to adopt a similar mindset.

While another user posted, Funny, Kohli’s vehicle of the innings. Another user shared a picture depicting Virat’s daily cycle.

Meanwhile, after bowling out Australia for 445 runs in the first innings, Team India lost four early wickets. Bumrah once again led the bowling unit with 6 wickets.

The Indian batting line-up collapsed soon after starting their innings, with Jaiswal becoming the first batsman to return. Jaiswal, Gill, Kohli and Pant returned to the pavilion with single-digit scores.

Starc took two wickets for Australia while Hazlewood and Cummins dismissed one player each.

After rain spoiled most of the time, India managed to put only 51 runs on the board at stumps on the third day.
