Apple is reportedly developing two foldable devices and it could be launched in 2026 or 2027.
According to a report by The Wall Street Journal, Apple is working on two foldable devices. One is a 19-inch screen device and the other is a foldable iPhone with a larger screen than the iPhone 16 Pro Max. The foldable iPhone will have at least a 7-inch display, while the iPhone 16 Pro Max has a 6.9-inch display.
The Wall Street Journal reports that the tech giant has been working on both devices for years. The foldable iPhone will be the first to hit the market and it could be launched in 2026 or pushed a year later.
Meanwhile, Bloomberg referred to the larger devices as foldable iPads and it will be accompanied by two iPad Pros. The team is creating a screen without the creases that are visible when an existing foldable phone is opened.
According to several reports, the delay in the launch of Apple’s foldable devices is due to issues with the hinge and display cover.
