PMK founder S Ramadoss on Sunday said the people of Tamil Nadu had restricted him to a ‘small circle of caste’ and said those who read his book would have a different opinion. He said this while speaking at the launch of his 20th anniversary bookth Book, ‘Porgal Oivadhillai’ in Chennai.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Ramadas said that the party was a pioneer in presenting 22 shadow budgets and 17 budgets.th A shadow agriculture budget following the European model with a shadow cabinet. “If Lord Brahma, Lord Vishnu and Lord Shiva ask me what I want, I ask Him for two boons and one small boon: a Tamil Nadu without even a drop of alcohol and a Tamil Nadu without even a drop of water. The smallest boon goes to Tamil Nadu. No cannabis should be sold where it is widely sold,” he said.
Dr. Ramadas said that the government should introduce a law punishing those who give money to voters for ten years in prison with the plan to bring ‘one nation, one election’. “I am a politician. My job is to protest. I will continue to do so,” he said.
Speaking at the book release, PMK president Anbumani Ramdas said that while providing ₹1,000 per month to women, they were given the 108 ambulance scheme, which she thought had helped many women across India. “Ensure the growth of agriculture, protect agricultural land, prevent the sale of ganja and improve the management of water resources…which will help future generations in Tamil Nadu.” He said.
“We are fighting for reservation so that the youth can educate themselves and find jobs. Despite working for every community, PMK and Dr. Ayya are constantly labeled as caste party and leaders,” he said.
