Sparsh Darshan at Srisailam will stop on January 1

Anticipating heavy rush on January 1, 2025, the Srisailam temple authorities have decided to stop ‘Parsha Darshan’ of Lord Mallikarjuna on that day. As it is an optional holiday and the first day of the new year, a large number of devotees are expected to visit Srisailam on that day.

The executive officer of the temple M. Srinivasa Rao said that devotees in the ‘Sarva Darshan’ queue will be allowed to do only ‘Alankara Darshan’ on the day to provide speedy darshan. Similarly, ‘Arjita Garbhalaya’, ‘Abhishekam’ and ‘Arjita Collective Abhishekam’ will also be stopped on the same day.

The temple administration has also decided to stop ‘Uday Ashtaman Seva’, ‘Prathakal Seva’ and ‘Pradoshkal Seva’. The temple management will arrange drinking water and snacks for the devotees sitting in the queue. ‘Annaprasadam’ and ‘Laddu Prasadam’ will be made available at the sales counter at the Annaprasad complex from 10:30 am onwards.
