350 acres of land along Godavari River to be given for commercial grass cultivation by the government, says Labor Minister

Labor and Industries Minister Vasamsetty Subhash on Sunday assured BR Ambedkar Konsima to allow commercial cultivation of grass on 350 acres of land on the banks of the Godavari in Ramachandrapuram assembly constituency of the district.

Addressing budding entrepreneurs at a meeting on identification of areas for establishing micro, small and medium industries here, Subhash said that farmers who are willing to produce commercial grass on 350 acres of government land in the coastal area will be encouraged. Godavari. The meeting was organized by the District Industry Center.

“The dairy sector needs fodder, the cultivation of which can be recommended to budding entrepreneurs. The state government will support commercial cultivation of food grains and establishment of dairy units in primary areas,” Mr. Subhash said.

Coconut area

Mr. Subhash asserted that there is an opportunity to set up micro and small units for 15 value added coconut products in BR Ambedkar Konsima district. Collector R. Mahesh Kumar promised to provide necessary support from the government for the establishment of micro, small and medium industries in the district. District Industry Center General Manager PKP Prasad and other officials were present.
