Union Minister Bandi Sanjay Kumar has expressed grief over the arrest of a woman and actor Allu Arjun in the stampede at Sandhya Theatre.

Sanjay, who went to meet the boy Sai Tej who was injured in the stampede and is being treated in a private hospital, consoled the family members. He said that the entire episode has taken a different color by targeting the actors and it has given a wrong signal to the film industry. He says that such trend will damage the industry.

He asked the people and the parties to take steps to bring some peace in the interest of the state without politicizing the issue. He argued that Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy’s comments in the Assembly also sent a wrong signal to the industry and asked him not to fall into AIMIM’s trap. The BRS traveled with AIMIM and lost public sympathy and the Congress would face a similar situation if it continued its friendship with AIMIM, he argued.
