3 Day Ritual to Celebrate the First Anniversary of Ayodhya Ram Temple | India news

To celebrate the first anniversary of Prana Pratishtha or the consecration ceremony of Ram Lalla at the Ram temple in Ayodhya, Sri Ramjanmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust has planned a three-day festival from January 11.

The Pranapratistha ceremony at the Ram temple in Ayodhya took place on January 22 this year, which was Paush Shukla Dwadashi according to the Hindu calendar. In 2025, it will fall on January 11. The three day festival is called Pratishtha Dwadashi.

‘For the three-day festival, we have decided to send a special invitation to all the saints who could not be invited or could not come to the pranapratistha ceremony. The process of choosing a name has begun. Ashok Tiwari, All India Dharmacharya Contact Head, has been given the responsibility,’ said a member of the trust.

These events and celebrations will be held at five locations within the temple premises.

“It will include yagna mandap programs, where offerings will be made to the fire deity. Then there will be Yagna chanting of Shree Ram mantras in two sessions and 6 lakh mantras will be chanted over three days. Then Rama Raksha Stotra, Hanuman Chalisa, Purusha Sukta, Shree Sukta, Aditya Hriday Stotra, Atharvashirsha will be recited,’ said Champat Rai, Secretary General of the Fund.
