Amravati: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has significantly reduced his security requirements using the latest technology. He has been maintaining strict security and distance from bandbust.
The police have started providing security at the Chief Minister’s house with autonomous drones.
The Chief Minister directed the police to prepare a strategy to provide maximum security with minimum staff using technology.
Accordingly, state-of-the-art drones have been commissioned at Chief Minister Niwas Undavalli. This drone will scan the surroundings every two hours and if there is any suspicious activity or foreign objects, it will send a message to the monitoring team. The drone will operate in autopilot mode. After surveying, it will land on the deck and charge itself.
The police will be able to assess security needs based on the data provided by drones.
Naidu had asked the police to reduce their security as it was increasing the distance between him and party workers after which drones were pressed into service to reduce the security personnel close to the Chief Minister.
After the order of the Chief Minister, the police across the state have made necessary changes in the security of the Chief Minister.
During the YSRC regime, over 980 policemen provided security to the Chief Minister which came to 121 during Chandrababu Naidu’s rule.
Former CM Jagan Mohan Reddy’s convoy had 17 vehicles and Chandrababu Naidu’s has been reduced to 11 vehicles with Z+ security.
