Four people, including three women, were killed and 30 others injured when a mini goods vehicle overturned in Chhattisgarh’s Bastar district on Saturday.
The injured were returning from the weekly market to Koleng village when the accident occurred near Chandameta village in the afternoon, the police officer informed.
He said that according to preliminary information, the driver of the mini cargo vehicle carrying about three dozen passengers lost control of the wheel and slipped off the road.
He said that four people, including three women, died on the spot and around 30 people were injured. He said that some of the injured have been admitted to the primary health center in Koleng, while some are being treated in the hospital in Darbha.
