Pushpa 2 Box Office Collection Day 16: Director Sukumar’s much awaited film, Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil starrer ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ has achieved a remarkable milestone.Crossing the 1000 crore nett mark in India. According to film trade tracking website Sacnilk, Allu Arjun’s film is a bona fide blockbuster, and has collected 1004.35 crore nett in just 16 days, with its third Friday collection around Rs 13.75 crore.
The film’s impressive performance can be attributed to a strong crowd-pleasing storyline, engaging characters, and Allu Arjun’s captivating portrayal of the red sandalwood smuggler Pushparaj. Pushpa 2: The Rules not only dominated the Indian box office but also made a significant impact globally, earning Rs 1508 crore within 14 days of its release.
In the Hindi market, the film has done exceptionally well by earning Rs 632.50 crore in 15 days, beating Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor’s ‘Stree 2′, Shahrukh Khan’s Jawan and Prabhas’ ‘Baahubali 2’. Consistently, its first week collection stood at Rs 725.8 crore nett and second week collection stood at Rs 264.8 crore nett despite a 63.52 percent drop in numbers between the two weeks.
The only film that Pushpa 2: The Rule can beat in India is SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali 2: The Conclusion. The makers of the film, Mythri Movie Makers, have announced that the film will not be released on the OTT platform for 56 days after its theatrical release, so that fans can enjoy it on the big screen during the festive season.
