Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Minister K Pawan Kalyan on December 20 (Friday) promised that the government would improve road connectivity and healthcare facilities in tribal areas.
Mr. Pawan Kalyan laid the foundation stone of the road between Bagujola to Sirivara in Makkuwa mandal of Parvatipuram-Manyam district amid adverse weather conditions. He said that the government will spend about 36.71 billion rupees to build new roads on 19 routes.
He said that after adequate health services and good road network, sick and pregnant women will not be carried in dolly.
Local residents praised Mr. Pawan Kalyan for the road project. Earlier, the deputy chief minister walked on the ghat road despite the security personnel asking him not to do so. He said that this is a rare opportunity to spend time in the lap of nature.
