A total of 13 kg (2,400 units) of ganja-laced chocolates worth βΉ 97,600 were seized during a raid at a grocery store at Jagadgirigutta under Cyberabad commissionerate limits on Thursday.
Based on information, Balanagar Special Operation Team (SOT) and Jagadgirigutta police team raided a shop in Ringbasti and arrested Sunil Kumar Jha, a resident of Bihar.
Investigation revealed that Jha migrated from Bihar 20 years ago and started working as a labourer. He opened a grocery store only a few years ago. He started sourcing ganja-infused chocolates from Bihar and selling them to migrant workers at 40 bharu each. A case has been registered and investigation is underway.
