He added, “Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “Karmabhoomi to Janmabhoomi” appeal, people of Rajasthan living in Surat have committed to dig 1.40 lakh boreholes in various villages of Rajasthan. Mentioning various farmer-oriented decisions such as relief in electricity tariff, easy and fast connection of electricity, prompt assistance for damage to crops, he linked the prosperity of the state and the nation with agricultural prosperity. He urged the farmers to take the path of economic prosperity through water conservation.

Patil also inaugurated the Rain Water Harvesting Unit at NAU. On that occasion, both the ministers also released a booklet related to agro-textile. Farmers will be given detailed information on various topics and techniques. In addition, an exhibition of fertilizer spreading will also be held in this fair with the help of drone technology. Also, more than 120 exhibition stalls have been set up to inform about scientific methods of crop production and various welfare schemes for farmers.

After the program of the Navy Association, Patil participated in another program of inauguration and foundation laying of various road extensions in Navsari district on Saturday. The program was organized by the Provincial Roads and Buildings Department. Among those projects, the 10-meter wide Rankuwa to Karanjaveli rural municipality road has been expanded into four slow roads. The road is 38.40 km long. Under this road section, four big and nine small bridges will be constructed within two years. The project is expected to reduce the number of accidents.

Addressing the gathering, Patil said, ‘Here in Gujarat there is a triple engine government, the development works in Gujarat reach directly to the last person.
