Karnataka BJP president BY Vijayendra met Prime Minister Narendra Modi at his office in New Delhi on Wednesday, completing a year as the state party chief.

Gowda R. held this meeting amid factionalism in the party. A group led by Patil Yatnal, MLA, is seeking a change in leadership.

After the meeting, Vijayendra told X, “I met the Prime Minister to seek his blessings for completing one year of office as the state president. The precious moments spent with the Prime Minister today have inspired me to strengthen the party and contribute to the development of the country.”
