Transmission tower collapses in Madhya Pradesh’s Sidhi, three workers killed, six injured Bharat News

Three laborers were killed and six others injured when a 400 kV transmission line tower fell in Sidhi district of Madhya Pradesh on Thursday.

The incident took place at 12:30 pm in Amdad village under Rampur Naikin Tehsil, the official informed.

β€œThe workers were refurbishing the old transmission tower. When the tower collapsed among the group of workers, two people died on the spot and the third person died on the way while being taken to the hospital. Six people were injured and admitted to Sanjay Gandhi Medical College, Rewa,” said Sidhi Superintendent of Police Rabindra Verma.

He said that the identification of the deceased from West Bengal is being done.
