The Telangana Assembly has passed the Bhubharti Bill to replace the Dharani portal

Hyderabad: The Telangana Assembly here on Friday passed the Bhubharti Bill, replacing the Dharani portal, known as a one-stop destination for agricultural land transactions.

Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy, who introduced the Bill in the House, said, “I am happy that the Bill has been passed in the House and I thank everyone for giving me the opportunity.” He criticized the Leader of Opposition (LOP) and former Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) for failing to attend the session to give his valuable suggestions to the state government for inclusion in the bill.

He criticized the BRS MLAs for trying to block the bill and added that KCR failed to make changes in the interest of the people despite knowing that there were many flaws in the Dharani portal. He said that people have faced many problems since the portal was launched. After the bill was passed, Speaker Gaddam Prasad adjourned the Parliament meeting for Saturday.
