Hyderabad: A 19-year-old girl committed suicide on Tuesday at her residence in Naya Bhawaninagar Colony of Jawaharnagar.
According to Asai Idris Ali of Jawaharnagar, the deceased girl was studying in the second year of her degree and her parents were working as laborers in the city. The girl’s mother, Harika, has lodged a complaint with the police about the incident.
The girl returned home at 4 pm and went to the washroom. His mother took him to the hospital around 6 pm after the neighbor informed him about the situation. According to the neighbours, a tuition student who came to the house at around 4:45 pm found the girl in an unconscious state. He was taken to Metropolitan Hospital, where he died during treatment.
The preliminary investigation of the police shows that he may have committed suicide due to failure in love. A case has been registered and further investigation is underway.
The woman attacked the dermatologist
Hyderabad:The Jubilee Hills police on Wednesday registered a case against a woman for allegedly assaulting and molesting a dermatologist at her clinic.
Inspector Venkateswarulu identified the accused as Tanveer Begum, a resident of Banjara Hills and the victim as Dr Harshita, a resident of Tamil Nadu.
According to the police, Tanveer has been treating his 32-year-old daughter at the clinic since 2023. The total treatment fee was 2 lakh 19 thousand out of which Tanveer paid only 1 lakh. During her visit, the receptionist at the clinic reportedly asked her to settle the balance.
An angry Tanveer allegedly vandalized the clinic’s center table and computer and threw things at the doctor. He also allegedly abused Dr. Harshita after asking her daughter to wait downstairs.
The police have registered a case against Tanveer under Sections 354, 323 and 427 of the IPC and Section 4 of the Medical Act.
