SSC CGL 2024 Result: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has today published the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) 2024 Tier-I Result. Candidates who have appeared in the examination can view and download their scorecards by visiting ssc.gov.in.
Candidates selected in Tier 1 will now have to appear in Tier 2 exam. This recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 17,727 posts in Group ‘B’ and Group ‘C’ categories. SSC CGL Tier 2 Exam will be held on January 18, 19 and 20, 2025.
The SSC CGL Tier-I exam consisted of 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) divided into four sections – General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Comprehension. Each section had 25 questions of 50 marks, making a total exam of 200 marks.
For each correct answer, candidates were awarded 2 marks, while for each wrong answer 0.5 marks were deducted. Candidates had 60 minutes to complete the entire test. The Tier 1 exam was designed to determine whether candidates meet the basic eligibility criteria. Marks obtained in Tier 1 will not be included in the final evaluation.
