State Bank of India’s home and home-related loan disbursement has crossed ₹ 10,000 crore in the eight months ended November in Telangana this fiscal, SBI Hyderabad Circle said on Monday (Dec 16, 2024).
In the circle, which covers the entire state, 14,575 home loans and 5,732 top-up loans worth Rs 10,700 crore were sanctioned between April and November, SBI said. The bank has 27 home loan centers across the state for home loan processing and approval.
Apart from home loans, SBI has a wide range of related products such as personal loan against property (P-LAP); Home loan top-up; Maxgain – Hybrid; and NRI home loans which are popular and have competitive interest rates, the circle is organizing a three-day mega property expo SBI from December 20 at Hytex.
Principal General Manager Rajesh Kumar said the home loan portfolio of SBI Hyderabad Circle stood at ₹ 66,249 crore as on November 30. The bank has introduced various digital enablers on its Yono app for the benefit of customers, one of which is to apply for a home loan without a loan. Bank branch visit. The bank has also deployed retail loan management solutions digitizing the entire sourcing and underwriting process and digitalizing the entire document process with new platform document management solutions.
More than 50 leading builders in Hyderabad will showcase their ongoing and start-up projects at the exhibition which will act as a one-stop solution to access the range of residential properties and SBI products. SBI will also offer discounts on processing charges and interest rates to those who book properties at the expo.
SBI is the market leader in the home loan segment in the country and its total home loan business crossed the ₹ 7.95 trillion mark on November 30.
